SECONDARY ENGLISH TEACHER

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (North New South Wales) is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic secondary English teacher to join our innovative and collaborative team of educators at Avondale School. This role offers the opportunity to teach a range of English courses from Year 7 through to HSC level and to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing development of engaging and inspiring learning programs. This is a full-time position commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.
Avondale School is an independent preschool to Year 12 school owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The school is located on an expansive rural campus in Cooranbong, New South Wales, in the Lake Macquarie area. With a history of providing quality Christian education for over 120 years, our mission focuses on providing opportunities for students to know Christ, develop their full potential and cultivate a love of learning. We seek to use our extensive resources and skilled staff team to deliver innovative learning and wellbeing opportunities that engage students and develop curiosity.
