Gateway Campus Church is a Seventh-day Adventist Church that worships on our Avondale School campus. Programs run on Saturday mornings, and is open to our school community.
The Gateway Campus Church programs are deeply integrated with our Avondale School Campus ministries, which may include our weekly chapel programs. Gateway's church pastors are part of our school, working in collaboration with our School Chaplains.
Hi, I’m Steve. I’ve been working in Pastoral Ministry in Victoria and NSW since 2006. I now have the privilege of working alongside my wife, Susan who is also a Pastor, here at Gateway Church. I love connecting with people and helping them discover and reach their full God-given potential. I enjoy being active, going to the beach and cooking meals from my Greek heritage.
Sabbath School is for everyone, from babies to adults! We have groups for every age where you can hang out, connect, and grow in your faith.
If you love making people feel welcome, we’d love to have you on our hospo team at church! Whether it’s greeting people who come through the door, helping with refreshments or at the cafe, there’s a place for you.
The worship team at Gateway helps lead our Church in praise and worship. If you’re passionate about music and want to be part of creating a meaningful worship experience, we’d love for you to join us!
The AV team plays an important role in making sure everything runs smoothly during services, from sound and visuals to live-streaming. It’s a great way to serve behind the scenes and use your skills—or even learn new ones.
At Gateway, we love meeting new people and making them feel at home. Our job as the welcoming committee helps create a warm, comfortable place for everyone to come and enjoy Church!
