Gateway Campus Church is a Seventh-day Adventist Church that worships on our Avondale School campus. Programs run on Saturday mornings, and is open to our school community.
The Gateway Campus Church programs are deeply integrated with our Avondale School Campus ministries, which include our weekly chapel programs. Gateway's church pastors are part of our school, working in collaboration with our School Chaplains. Pr Chappo, Lead Pastor of Gateway Campus Church, is also the head of our Campus Ministries team.
Hi, I’m Chappo! I’ve been serving as a pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist Church since 2010. I’m passionate about the gospel and empowering local churches to change the world. I’m married to my amazing wife, Pr Bethany, and together we have three awesome daughters. Outside of ministry, I love fishing, enjoying a good non-alcoholic beer, and playing drums and guitar, and family road trips.
Hey! I'm Trent Keegan, a devoted husband to my wonderful wife, Erin, and a proud father to our amazing 1-year-old daughter, Ayla. Life's adventures are my calling, whether it's exploring the great outdoors or embracing the everyday journey of life itself. I find immense joy and purpose in guiding others, especially youth, as they discover the transformative love of Jesus Christ, witnessing their personal commitments, and sharing that passion with the world. Life, faith, and family are my greatest treasures, and I'm grateful for every moment of this incredible journey.
Sabbath School is for everyone, from babies to adults! We have groups for every age where you can hang out, connect, and grow in your faith.
If you love making people feel welcome, we’d love to have you on our hospo team at church! Whether it’s greeting people who come through the door, helping with refreshments or at the cafe, there’s a place for you.
The worship team at Gateway helps lead our Church in praise and worship. If you’re passionate about music and want to be part of creating a meaningful worship experience, we’d love for you to join us!
The AV team plays an important role in making sure everything runs smoothly during services, from sound and visuals to live-streaming. It’s a great way to serve behind the scenes and use your skills—or even learn new ones.
At Gateway, we love meeting new people and making them feel at home. Our job as the welcoming committee helps create a warm, comfortable place for everyone to come and enjoy Church!
