Avondale School have several buddies and peer support programs that are intentional and integrated into the learning, providing opportunities for students to grow in service and leadership.
The peer support program is structured to explore values, build positive relationships and develop key social and emotional skills. Year 11 Peer support leaders are trained to deliver a specific program for the Year 7 students designed to assist in their transition into secondary schooling.
