Facilities

Avondale School contains many modern facilities which aims to provide the best environment for each student's educational journey.

Multi-Purpose Centre (MPC)

The MPC was competed in 2007. The building covers over 3000m2 and has the following state of the art facilities:

2 full size basketball courts, stage area (where assemblies, concerts and speech nights are held)
Full size Commercial Kitchen (for Hospitality students to learn their trade and provide catering for events
Gymnasium room (for gymnastics, dance & karate classes)
3 classrooms
5 offices (PE department, learning support and marketing)
Uniform Shop
Large foyer for gathering, learning and events such as Reunions and Gateway Church
Bathrooms with showering facilities
Fully equipped Weights Gym room

Collaborative Learning Centre (CLC)

The CLC was completed in 2015. The facility covers 800m2 and includes a main flexible space, either a large gathering area for combined class learning or 3 individual rooms for year level learning. It also has a kitchenette, stage area & a large covered in deck, which has been used for art shows, information nights, weddings, peer support training and staff professional development meetings.

Performing Arts Facilities include

Music Building

For Kindy grandparents day, staff worship, Primary Chapels and SWOMP (super week of mega praise), music lesson end of year concerts & class presentations. The music building was extended in 2019 to include another classroom and rooms for student music lessons.

MPC Stage

This area is used for musicals, band, choir & handbell concerts, dramas and our end of year Kindy & Preschool Concerts
