You are invited to join us for our Stage 6 Pathway Discovery Expo on Monday, 4 August.
We would like to welcome students, parents and caregivers of students currently in Year 10 to our 2026 Pathway Discovery Expo, Monday 4 August, in the Avondale School Multi-Purpose Centre (MPC).
Come and explore the school’s Stage 6 curriculum (Years 11 & 12), including subject electives, the HSC, Vocational Education and Training, plus our innovative senior learning pathway, PROPEL.
There will also be a special information session on PROPEL, an experiential learning program, that allows students to receive their HSC and also provides them with the opportunity to explore their gifts and talents and apply them in a workplace environment.
All community members are welcome to attend the Expo, including those that attend other schools. Please feel free to invite friends or relatives who may be interested in exploring the offerings at Avondale School.
Available at the expo will be a Subject Information Booklet, which provides information about the various subjects on offer, including an overview of the content that is delivered in each course and how students are assessed. These have been prepared to assist students and families to better understand the subjects available, including an overview of the content that is delivered in each and how students are assessed. Please take the time, with your child, to view the information and talk about their options.
We trust that you will enjoy exploring the subject and pathway options available at Avondale School. We look forward to seeing you at the Pathway Discovery Expo, where we can have important face-to-face conversations about the direction of each individual student.
