Concert Band Performs at Gateway Church

Secondary News - Nov 07, 2025

Last Saturday, our Concert Band had the special privilege of leading the worship service at our school campus church, Gateway. It was a beautiful way for our students to use their musical talents to serve and praise, with a large proportion of Junior Band members joining them for the first time. A huge thank you to our dedicated students, as well as the parents and community members who support them—your encouragement and mentorship makes all the difference. One of our school chaplains, Pr Bethany Chapman spoke about true rest in God through difficult times as seen in part of the book of Hebrews.Being part of the band isn’t just about playing music. It’s about learning discipline, teamwork, focus, and the joy of creating something meaningful together. These are skills that carry over into every area of life and learning. If your child has ever thought about learning an instrument or joining the band, now’s a great time to give it a go! Music is a God-given gift worth exploring—and there’s always room for more in the band!
