The Secondary Emerging Innovators sessions have now finished for the year and we want to take this chance to say a huge thank you to Mr Josh Fischer for coming and sharing his time, knowledge and network with some of our senior students.
The Emerging Innovators group have witnessed the reinvention of the Tummy Shield, a product that works in conjunction with a car seat belt, to take seat belt pressure off the abdomen and thus help to ensure the safety of a pregnant woman and her unborn child in a car accident. It can also be used by people with abdominal issues and after abdominal surgery. Students have learned about the different aspects of bringing a product to market, including product design, graphic design, packaging, marketing and website design. The class has also looked at writing business plans, investing in businesses and real estate, and launching their own businesses.
We have been privileged to have Josh, a Camplify founder, and his specialist friends come and share their expertise.
