Avondale School played in the HRIS Volleyball tournament this week held at Broadmeadow. Our Open Boys’ and Open Girls' teams both made it to the grand final. This was a huge improvement from the previous tournament last term. Even though both teams played hard in each match, they went down in closely contested games. The boys lost to Macquarie College and the girls were beaten by St Phillips Christian College.
