Avondale School's Kids' Lit Quiz teams had a fantastic day at the Newcastle regional heat hosted on our very own campus this Thursday. Competing against 15 teams from 7 schools, our students showcased their literary knowledge with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Children’s author Nat Amoore, was an incredibly fun and enthusiastic quiz master and ensured that all students were kept engaged and entertained. Congratulations to all of our Avondale participants who each came away with either a book for winning a round in the competition, or some cash from individual prize questions.
