What does leadership mean to you? How important is it to lead positively?
Leading positively is crucial as it sets the tone for the entire community and fosters a culture of respect, collaboration and growth. At Avondale School, we take pride in our student leaders and are dedicated to building their leadership capacity and skillsets through various formal and informal opportunities. We firmly believe that every student has the potential to lead positively, regardless of their official title, as true leadership is about making a meaningful impact on others. We are continually inspired by our student leaders who embody vision, integrity and a focus on serving others with a Godly perspective.
We are grateful to our student leaders for upholding biblical leadership principles and guiding their peers with wisdom and care.
As our Secondary School captains share in the video below, we encourage all members of our community to embrace leadership in all aspects of their lives, whether through formal roles or everyday actions. Let us all strive to be positive leaders, following the example of guiding with an upright heart and skilful hand as mentioned in Psalms.
