Around 130 students from our Primary and Secondary Music Ensembles came together this past Saturday to lead the Uni Church program in a wonderful celebration of faith, music, and community. Featuring multiple choirs, the Orchestra, worship band, a dramatic kid's story, and dancers, the program showcased the incredible diversity of talent across our school. An array of musical items brought something unique to the service, and the combined ensembles united to lead the congregation in worship. Mr Stuart Clark, our Head of Primary, delivered an engaging sermon exploring the story of Zacchaeus, reminding us of the life-changing power of encountering Jesus and responding to His love. It was a beautiful opportunity for our students to share the gifts God has given them, using their talents to worship Him and bless the wider church community. Our students were wonderful ambassadors for Avondale School and, most importantly, for their God!
