Last week the school’s Orchestra travelled out to Narromine, the school’s newest STORMCo community. They performed at Narromine Christian School and Church, as well as sharing with the local community youth event. This act of service was tremendously appreciated by those in attendance – even though they are not that far away, they don’t get many visitors. Students were also inspired by the enthusiasm in student worship and a very moving Acknowledgement of Country. A visit to the Royal Flying Doctors Service was eye-opening and informative, with an opportunity to sit in the cockpit and patient bed of a replica aircraft fuselage. The group continued their quest of finding worthy playgrounds around the state, and a storm miraculously released their frisbees and basketball stuck up in the park trees. Many thanks to Mr Howard (truck driver and counsellor), Mr Tim White (bus driver), Mrs Page and Ms Chester for their continued love of music and for making this trip possible.
