Last week was National Science Week. Secondary students and Staff celebrated Science Week in many ways:
- Science Focus at the beginning of each science class – Aerogels, The DART Mission (Double Asteroid Redirection Test), Total Solar Eclipses and Lighting Up Our Streets with Trees.
- Science Escape Room Challenges – Online and one in room Escape Room Finale.
- Science Morning Tea for the whole Secondary Campus. The Science cookies were a favourite!
- Aeronautical Challenge – using and modifying gliders for distance and accuracy.
- Science Quiz – testing our science knowledge.
It was a time where all Science and the innovations produced by men, women and scientific teams could be celebrated. Plans are already being made to make Science Week bigger and better in 2024.
