On Wednesday our students joined thousands of children across Australia to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime. This year’s story, The Truck Cat, marked 25 years of National Simultaneous Storytime in Australia. The Truck Cat captivated our young readers with its fun tale and engaging illustrations, while also exploring deep themes of isolation and finding where you belong in this world. Students gathered to enjoy a shared reading experience, fostering a love for stories and the joy of reading. Some classes met in the iCentre, others engaged in the story in their classrooms and there was plenty of activities to go along with the tale.
