On Wednesday we celebrated a very special book launch for The Day The Animals Talked, featuring stories written by twelve talented young authors from our school. Students heard from Mrs Fiona Jackson, Secondary Head of English, how important it is to be creative in a world of AI. Many students shared an extract from their own original story, proudly presenting their hard work and creativity to families, friends, and teachers. The event showcased the incredible imagination and effort our students put into writing their stories. The Rotary Club of Morisset supported the project by running the competition earlier in the year and publishing the stories, giving our young writers a real-life author experience. It was a joyful celebration of literacy, creativity, and community spirit—congratulations to our amazing student authors!
