Primary Week of Worship

Primary News - May 15, 2026

This week, our Primary School has been blessed to take part in a special Week of Worship, themed 'Kingdom Quest', led by Pastor Jay from Port Macquarie.

The focus verse for the week has been John 8:12, where Jesus declares, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” This powerful reminder has encouraged students to reflect on Jesus as the true light who brings guidance, hope, and direction in every part of life.

Each day, Pastor Jay has led students on an engaging 'Kingdom Quest', helping them explore what it means to follow Jesus and walk in His light. The sessions have been interactive, uplifting, and full of energy, giving students opportunities to think deeply about how Jesus shines into their everyday experiences.

A highlight of the week has been the outstanding contribution of our Year 6 Prefects. They have supported the worship program in a variety of ways, including leading out in the music, assisting as hosts, as well as taking part in daily video segments. Their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm have played an important role in making the week meaningful and engaging for all students.

Overall, it has been a wonderful week of worship, as our school community continues to grow together in faith and is reminded of the hope we have in Jesus, the light of the world.
