On Monday, despite initial concerns that rain would disrupt the annual Secondary Athletics Carnival held at Mingara Athletics Track, the weather remained clear throughout the day. As a result, we were able to successfully complete almost all scheduled track and field events. Throughout the carnival, several students achieved outstanding performances and broke existing records. At the last count, Hunter House was in the lead but final results will come out once the Javelin event is completed.
A special thank you is extended to all of our dedicated staff who assisted throughout the day by running events, supervising students, preparing food, and recording results. We also sincerely thank the students from Avondale University for their valuable assistance and support during the carnival.
