Secondary Coding Club

Secondary News - Feb 21, 2025

The Secondary Coding Club kicked off 2025 in style Thursday lunchtime, with students unboxing brand-new, high-performance PCs designed to meet the growing demand for advanced coding and game development. With cutting-edge hardware now in place, students are set to push the limits of creativity using industry-leading tools like Unreal Engine and Unity.

Excitement was high as students took part in setting up the club’s new space, ensuring everything was ready for another year of coding, problem-solving, and innovation. The fresh setup marks a significant step forward in supporting students eager to develop their skills in programming, game design, and software development.

To celebrate the launch, Year 8 student Leighton R put together an awesome highlight video, capturing the energy and enthusiasm of the club as it embarks on its biggest year yet. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced coder, there’s never been a better time to get involved!

The Thursday Lunchtime Coding Club continues to be a place where students collaborate, experiment, and bring their creative ideas to life. Stay tuned for more exciting projects and achievements as the club powers ahead in 2025!
