Avondale School hosted the annual HRIS Cross country for the 12th year in a row at Avondale University. The weather was magic and so were some of our runners with some excellent individual results. The team of bike riders was awesome in keeping the track running smoothly. The Secondary team were missing a few runners but an extra thank you to those who stepped up an age and ran to get us points. A big thank you to the staff who also put in the long hours to make it a successful event.The competition was close between schools. Avondale Secondary came in a very close 8th place out of the eighteen schools entered. We also won the 18 year old girls team award.
