Avondale School competed in the Hunter Region Oz Tag Competition in Maitland this week. There were three teams: Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys. The Junior Boys team played very well on the day and had two wins and two losses. The Senior Boys team had some great games and were undefeated in their pool. In the semi finals, they only just lost but played so hard. Well done! The Senior Girls went through undefeated in their pool and did not have a try scored against them. They were victorious in the final and only had one try scored against them the whole day. Congratulations to all teams for their sportsmanship and hard work! Special thanks to Mr Gorry for all the hard work he has put into training the teams during the year. Thanks to Mr Scale, Mrs Richards and Mr Howard for their supervision on the day.
