Secondary STORMCo Trips

Secondary News - Aug 01, 2025

On July 4, our school sent two staff teams and over 50 senior students on our annual STORMCo trips. One to Narromine (a brand-new location) and the other to Cobar, a community we’ve served for 27 years. In both towns, students ran school holiday kids’ club programs, with 40 children attending in Narromine and 93 in Cobar. The students led fun, faith-filled sessions with music, games, balloon animals, drama, craft, face painting, and stories. It was a great way to share Jesus with regional kids and grow their personal leadership skills.Afternoons were spent rolling up their sleeves on community service projects: weeding, window washing, lawn mowing, car washing, and more. Narromine worked alongside the local council on their community projects, while the Cobar team also reconnected with local groups including the Men’s Shed, emergency services, and St Vincent de Paul. The trips stretched students in leadership, faith, and teamwork. Many formed deep community connections and came home with new confidence, new friendships, unforgettable stories, and lifelong memories. A huge thank you to our amazing staff teams who made this special experience possible!
