Secondary Swimming Carnival

Secondary News - Mar 02, 2021

What a great day we had for our Swimming Carnival! The day dawned a bit overcast and drizzly, but ended with brilliance. The teachers won the relay against the seniors. How good is that?! The House Captains were kept busy organising swimmers into races and rewarding them with MERS (Motivational Energy Replacement Supplements).

We had 7 records fall, Jayden T breaking 3 records, Ethan C breaking the 50m breaststroke record, Rhiannon D breaking 3 records as well as the Pacific Senior Girls Team breaking the freestyle relay record.

A big thank you to the cheer squads who were losing their voices by the end of the day. Having parents and family being able to attend was a huge bonus for the day.

Final Points Tally:
Pacific - 2,223.5
Watagan - 1,944
Hunter - 1,765
Macquarie - 1,642.5
