With five coach loads of students, plus some who came with parents, we had a positive turnout for our carnival on Monday. There were lots of screaming and cheering for the Houses (some may have been from the parents!). The new House Captains played an important role in motivating and organising swimmers in each race. Congratulations to Dylan J who broke the most records on the day.Students who came in 1st or 2nd place have been selected to swim in the HRIS Carnival held at Maitland Pool. Age Champion trophies will be given out at an assembly soon.A new chapter in the history book of House Sport at Avondale School has begun. Macquarie won the Swimming Carnival! Can they keep it up? Pacific came 2nd, Hunter 3rd and Watagan 4th.A big thank you to the parents, staff and students who came along and enjoyed the day. The Wyong Pool staff once again congratulated the school for their enthusiasm, and good behavior.
