Week of Worship is an opportunity we have as a school to come together each day, spending time in community, learning about the goodness that God has for us. This week, we’ve had Pastor Aubree Harrington from Kellyville Church in Sydney share with our high school. She has taken us through the journey of the 'Upside Kingdom' in which Jesus doesn’t exist in a typical hierarchy—instead making declarations such as, “love your enemy”, or emphasising the importance of giving over receiving; all of which is upside down to a typical way of thinking.Aubree and Miki have also gone around to visit different classes this week, giving the students an opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Weeks like this are special for our school. They allow us time to be reminded of what’s important, and to be invited to join in on all God is doing.
