During the holidays, 32 Secondary students headed out to Cobar for the 25th year of our annual STORMCo trip. These students did Avondale proud as they willingly weeded and tidied gardens, walked some dogs and put on a great Kids Club program with music, games, craft and puppets. The local community centre, known as the Youthie, was a hub of activity as our students rallied basketball games into action and joined in on some hilarious musical spin classes. Our students helped their new Cobar friends conquer their fears on the Pinnacle Challenge and all were invited to the tradition of pancakes in the park. We had a really great bunch on the trip this year and plans are already underway for another trip in 2024.
