The Eden Project: Learning, Serving, and Growing Together

Primary News - Sept 25, 2025

Over the past few weeks, The Eden Project has sprung to life on our Primary Campus! What began as a simple idea to engage students in hands-on learning is already capturing the hearts and minds of our young people.Students from across the school have been eager to get involved. They have been digging, mulching, preparing garden beds, planting seedlings, painting fences and lending a hand wherever they can. The energy is contagious, with students not just working hard but sharing their discoveries and encouraging one another along the way.

What makes this even more exciting is that we’re still only at the beginning. Projects like murals, mosaic bird baths, garden design, propagation, and eventually harvesting produce and preparing food are all on the horizon. Right now, we are laying the foundations, and already the enthusiasm from our students is keeping staff on their toes to find new ways to harness this momentum.

A special thank you must go to those who have helped bring this vision to life:

  • Miss Ryan for her tireless energy and encouragement.
  • Mr Hernandez for his belief in this project and for championing our students.
  • Our grounds and maintenance team for their practical support.
  • Mr Ross and the Secondary TAS department for supplying off-cuts of wood that have opened up even more creative possibilities.

It has been incredible to see this section of our school come alive again. Though we’re only in the infancy of this project, the passion of our students and the support of our staff are already bearing fruit in the form of curiosity, teamwork and a renewed sense of service. The Eden Project is just beginning, but its future is full of possibility.
