Ms Page’s Year 12 PROPEL students recently ventured to the Watagan Park Display Homes. This experience provided a hands-on opportunity for students as part of their Mathematics unit on practical applications of scale drawing, ratio and measurement. Students had a great time applying skills, exploring design and being able to chat with consultants about the ins and outs of house design and the building and buying process. We would particularly like to thank the consultants of McDonald Jones Homes and Masterton Homes for their time and willingness to work with our students in such an indepth way as we brought our maths learning to life, sparked inspiration and equipped students with skills and knowledge for their future!
