Year 10 Food Tech Pop-Up Stalls

Secondary News - Sept 19, 2025

This week, our Year 10 Food Technology students showcased their skills and creativity by transforming the school quadrangle into a lively pop-up restaurant. As part of their studies in Food Service and Catering, the students planned, prepared, and served a mouthwatering menu that impressed staff and students alike.

The pop-up offered a wide variety of savoury and sweet dishes, including freshly made hot pizzas, steaming Asian noodle bowls, tasty dumplings, loaded fries, and a tempting selection of other treats. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as students worked together to create a vibrant outdoor dining experience.

The event not only highlighted the students’ culinary talents but also gave them the opportunity to experience the real-world demands of food service — from menu planning and food preparation to customer service and teamwork.

Congratulations to the Year 10 Food Technology class for hosting such a fun, professional, and delicious event. It was a memorable day for everyone who attended, and a wonderful celebration of learning in action!
