On Tuesday, our Year 11 Biology students headed to Catherine Hill Bay to put their fieldwork skills into practice. Students collected first-hand data, practised sampling techniques, and identified a range of species living along the rocky shore, with expert assistance from Dr Jason Morton. The class encountered a variety of marine life, including starfish, large sea slugs, and numerous snails. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with the diverse ecosystems found along our local coastline.
