This week the two Year 11 Hospitality classes catered for a High Tea to thank the local community volunteers for all they do at the Cooranbong Community Centre. The students in the cookery class prepared and cooked all items served. Students in the service class set the function venue, waited tables, served food and beverages and greeted the volunteers. The students were fantastic ambassadors of Avondale School. They were professional in their service and interactions, running a successful event. This year the students led out and managed the function in its entirety. Mrs Nevell is extremely impressed with both classes and their exceptional skills displayed throughout the function. They are a very capable, skilled and professional group of students to work with.
