Year 11 Business Services students have spent a week out on work placement learning new skills and putting some of the things learned in class into practice. A wide variety of industries were represented in the group, including a local council, lawyers, construction companies, schools, logistics and manufacturing companies, community support services, a university, and a range of other local businesses. We are grateful that our students have the opportunity to interact with professionals, to experience what a career in a given industry might look like, and to develop confidence and skills in pratical ways. Work placement is one of the mandatory components students must complete as they work towards gaining their Cert III in Business as part of their HSC.
