Year 12 Biology and Chemistry students recently attended Experiment Festival at the University of Newcastle, where they participated in a range of hands-on activities linked to HSC content. A highlight of the day was the opportunity to artificially fertilise sea snail eggs using industry-standard laboratory equipment, providing students with valuable insight into real-world scientific techniques and research. The experience was engaging, allowing students to deepen their understanding while exploring science beyond the classroom.
