This term, Year 3 students worked in small groups to plan, prepare, and run their very own healthy food stalls for the Year 3 International Food Festival. Each group chose a country to represent, researched traditional dishes, and worked within a $30 budget to create their menu. Students sourced recipes, priced ingredients online, and set affordable selling prices with the aim of making a profit.
The excitement didn’t stop at the cooking! As part of their project, students also designed eye-catching marketing campaigns complete with posters and catchy slogans to attract hungry customers.
The celebration was a fantastic success, with delicious food, creative stalls, and plenty of learning about culture, teamwork, and financial responsibility along the way. Congratulations to all our Year 3 students (and their families!) for making the event such a memorable one.
