Year 5 recently enjoyed an unforgettable excursion to The Rocks, immersing themselves in one of Australia’s most historic precincts. Throughout the trip, students were treated to engaging historical tours that brought the past to life, along with rich learning opportunities that deepened their understanding of early Australian settlement.A highlight for many was the trek across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, where students experienced breathtaking views. Another favourite moment was discovering how traditional candy is stretched and made (as well as being treated to a sample packet once we got home!). We are especially proud of the way our students represented the school. Their behaviour was exemplary, and staff received numerous positive comments from tour guides and members of the public, who were impressed by the students’ manners and respect.Well done, Year 5, on a fantastic trip and for being such outstanding ambassadors of our school!
