Our Year 7 students recently took part in an engaging and meaningful incursion run by Dhinewan Mentoring, as part of their English Term 1 topic Welcome to Country. Our guest speaker, Jonathan Wright, shared his wisdom and experiences, deepening students’ understanding of Indigenous Australian culture, connection to Country, and belonging. Through collaborative storytelling activities, students explored these ideas while building teamwork and creativity. It was a fantastic day of learning, reflection, and shared connection.
