Year 8 Anna Bay Camp

Secondary News - Apr 02, 2026

The Year 8 Anna Bay camp was everything we could have hoped for. The activities were fun and unforgettable. We hiked up Tomaree Head to enjoyed the breathtaking view of Port Stephens. We enjoyed the entertaining and fun games that Pr Betho hosted at the campground. We hired some bikes so we could ride around the main town - some of us even attempted tandems. We even got to visit the local lolly shop at the end of our ride! We also surfed at the beautiful One Mile Beach, which was fun for those who had never tried surfing before. Kayaking around the bay was both enjoyable and tiring. We spent an evening at Putt Putt and the driving range. It was clear we had lots of fun as you could hear the shouts of joy from the occasional hole-in-one or extra long shot in the driving range! Capture the flag on the marvellous Stockton dunes was definitely a highlight, even if the nearby storm cut us short. The meals were a hit too, with Dominos pizza, haystacks and other favourites keeping everyone happy after big days of activities. Overall Year 8 camp was an experience we will never forget.
