Our Year 9 and 10 students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Science and Engineering Challenge at the University of Newcastle. Throughout the day, students worked collaboratively to solve a range of engaging, hands-on challenges that tested their problem-solving, creativity and teamwork skills. Activities included bridge building, designing fish traps, and communication challenges, all of which encouraged students to think critically while having fun. It was a fantastic experience that both challenged and inspired our students as they explored real-world applications of science and engineering.
