Year 9 Challenge Sunrise

Secondary News - May 19, 2023

The Year 9 students participated in the Sunrise Ceremony last Friday as a part of the Challenge wellbeing program. This ceremony holds immense significance as it marks a pivotal moment in the teenagers' development, symbolising their transition from Year 9 to Year 10 and their journey towards adulthood. The Challenge program offers students valuable opportunities to delve into key values like Respect, Resilience and Responsibility through engaging activities and discussions on topics such as Identity and Character Development, Teamwork and Communication, Life Values, and Godly Living. By focusing on these essential aspects, the program empowers students to grow holistically and prepares them for the challenges and responsibilities of adulthood. A big thank you to the parents and mentors who came to support their child physically and symbolically.
