On Wednesday, our Year 9 students, along with their parents and mentors, drove to Catherine Hill Bay beach under the stars. When they arrived, they met with their Challenge teachers for our special Challenge Sunrise event. Mr Alt shared some wisdom with our students for the years ahead and as the sun rose, they symbolically ’stepped forward’ into their futures as young adults. They also took some time to thank their parents and mentors for the way they have invested in them over the years. After exploring the beach for a while, everyone enjoyed a pancake breakfast.
