At Avondale School, we offer a wide variety of subjects, providing the foundations for Year 11 and Year 12 students to pursue their chosen career. However, sometimes a student may have identified a passion area that is not currently provided on campus.
We are pleased to have the ability to offer students the potential to pursue their chosen passion area by partnering with some excellent Distance Education providers. This opens up the world to them, providing avenues to further grow and thrive in a subject that they love.
Whilst students receive face-to-face support from our External Studies Supervising Teacher, External Studies requires the student to be an independent learner and intrinsically motivated. For this reason, this pathway is only offered to students who receive approval through an initial application process.
The options are vast with External Studies, and it is an exciting opportunity for students to grow within an area they are passionate about and further discover and unlock their full potential.
